What cars are eligible for the MHOSA Cub Scout Challenge? -- only the stock Patriot II car manufactured by Wizzard High Performance, Inc.  Only stock or stock replacement parts are eligible.  Any front tires and axles are legal.

How much does a Patriot II car cost? -- manufacturer's suggested retail price is $29.95 plus tax (and shipping if mail ordered).

Where do I purchase Patriot II cars?  -- Mikes Collectables on South Broadway, mail order directly from Wizzard, or from MHOSA.

Car kits for sale or lease from MHOSA -- MHOSA will prepare Patriot II car kits for the Cub Scout Challenge complete with brand new ready to race cars, essential spare parts and tools, and a carrying case.  The kit cars will have modified front ends for better handling.  The kit is the easiest cost effective way to get everything needed to race.  It consist of:
 

Patriot II car w/body: $32.00
o-ring tires (3): $1.00
pickup shoes (pr): $1.00
brushes & springs (pr): $2.00
brush barrel & set screw: $1.00
brush barrel tool: $1.00
body pins (pr): $0.50
crown & pinion gear: $1.00
motor spacers (5): $0.50
carrying case: $1.50
Total: $41.50

The kits are available from MHOSA to purchase or lease.  Purchase price is $41.50.

Lease details: 

deposit: $14 at time of enrollment includes first two lease payments (non-refundable)
lease fee: $7 per race day -- the same car can be used for both father and son (non-refundable)
lease to buy: six lease payments purchases the kit
buy out: The balance ($42 less payments made) may be paid off at any time
Leased car kits will remain at the raceway until the lease plan is settled.  All lease payments are non-refundable.
