Proposed Event Race Format

Pairs Racing
Three Rounds
120 seconds per lane

Top host racer will be paired with bottom visiting racer, runner up host racer will be paired with second to bottom visiting racer, and so on…  Remaining racers will be paired ad hoc.
at Tuscany Raceway Park
One round consists of each driver completing 120 seconds on each of four lanes.  Rounds will be made up of any number of heats to accommodate all racers.

Beginning lane and heat for the first round will be determined by luck of the draw.   Second and third round seeding will be determined by results in previous round.

Each driver’s highest round lap total will be added to that of his teammate.  The highest team total wins bragging rights.

Individual Racing

No teams, every man for himself.
2 Rounds, 120 seconds per lane
One round consists of each driver completing 120 seconds on each of four lanes.   Rounds will be made up of any number of heats to accommodate all racers.
Main, 180 seconds per lane
at Bengal Raceway

Beginning lane and heat for the first round will be determined by luck of the draw.   Second round seeding will be determined by results in previous round.

The four highest individual lap totals will compete in a 180 second per lane Main.  Main seeding will be determined by results in qualifying rounds.

The highest Main lap total wins bragging rights.

4-Driver Team Racing

Racers will be grouped into teams of four drivers
3 or 4 Rounds
One round consists of each driver completing 120 seconds on each of four lanes.
120 seconds per lane
at Highlands Ranch

The event will consist of three or four rounds depending on the number of four driver teams.
- 12 drivers (3 teams) = 4 rounds of three heats (12 heats total)
- 16 drivers (4 teams) = 3 rounds of four heats (12 heats total)
- 20 drivers (5 teams) = 3 rounds of 5 heats (15 heats total)

Team Lane assignments (and Marshalling assignments) for all heats will be pre-determined.   Each Team will begin each round on a different lane.

Each team will determine which of its drivers will race in which heat.   Each driver must drive once per round.

Points will be awarded according to best lap total after each heat – first: 4 pts, second: 3 pts, third: 2 pts, forth: 1 pt.

The team with the highest point total after all rounds wins bragging rights.
