Team MHOSA derives from club MHOSA (Mile-high HO-scale Slot-car Association).  Club MHOSA is a well organized and friendly race club based in Denver Colorado.  If was founded 10 years ago by a nationally renound long time Denver area competitor, Scott Johnson and co-founder Roger Thompson (about MHOSA).  MHOSA has two championship race seasons per year with two car classes and two or three drivers classes.  The club has consistant turn-out of 12 to 18 racers per race with approximately 30 active racers and over 200 racers during the past ten years.  The chassis most commonly used in club MHOSA is the Storm by Wizzard, and BSRT's G3.

MHOSA has about a dozen members who have competed at national championship events including the HOPRA Nationals, UFHORA Nationals and Western States Championships.  At least three of those members have placed in these events.  MHOSA also has a history of hosting and traveling to race out of state.

The members who will attend the 2nd 24 hours of Les Bois are:

Originally an alternate, but will not race.  Winningest driver in MHOSA history
All members of the team have won multiple MHOSA championships.

All the members of Team MHOSA are honored and excited about the invitation to compete with other teams from around the U.S. and England in our first ever endurance race.  The team has not made a decision about the chassis type it will enter.  The car body will be a Porsche 917, the color will be light blue and the number will be 5.  It will be sure to sport the MHOSA logo and the names of the drivers if we can find letter decals that small.

We feel the 24 Hours of Les Bois will be a great challenge for us because we no longer race the the chassis types or track type allowed/used at Les Bois.
