Background
Passkey was modeled after a Denver area Tyco track built by Dennis Shoenberger and Tim Essman and used in the 1991 HOPRA nationals.

Raceway
Number of pit spaces: 15 to 22
Lighting: florescent and incandescent, well lit pits

Set-up
Rail height: approximately 0.014" -- Light down force rails allow for "slamming" the chassis in both super stock and polymer classes. Too much drag in Super Stock and rob much needed straight away speed.
Gears: high gear ratio helps achieve the much needed speed for the large radius curve long straight-away combination.
Shoe tension: Lighter than average pick-up shoe tension helps handling without sacrificing power.

Tire sizes will vary somewhat depending on car class (magnet strength), chassis wear, and firmness of tires.

Other
: Scott recommends a slight tire stagger (driver's side higher) because of the large radius right-hand curve.
